Thank you for purchasing your Powder Lite or Full Velocity Muffler from Bikeman Performance Plus. Each lightweight muffler is designed to fit in the stock location on your snowmobile. All Bikeman Performance mufflers are jig-built for consistent and proper fitment. They are also dyno-tested for the best possible power and reliability. Before firing your sled up, make sure the muffler fits correctly and has proper clearance.

 

IMPORTANT - Read the entire instructions before proceeding. If any of it does not make sense or is not in your skillset, please have an experienced technician perform the install.

 

Stock Muffler Removal Instructions

1 - Remove the MAG/Muffler side panel

2 -Remove all springs from the OEM Muffler & remove the muffler

3 - Remove the OEM rubber insulators from the backside of the muffler

4 - This spring tab will help pull the muffler down and hold it in place.

5 - Lastly, install muffler and all springs.

Installation:

1 - Install the OEM rubber insulators or the BMP muffler mount tabs near the back of the muffler.

2 - Tilt the muffler forward in the chassis

3 - Slide back while inserting the muffler outlet into the belly pan hole

4 - Pull the OEM pipe and outlet gasket into the BMP muffler inlet

5 - Spring the BMP muffler to the OEM pipe using the stock springs (Ex.1)

6 - Spring the BMP muffler to the existing spring tab on the steering support brace (Ex.2)

NOTE: Most mufflers do not require any fuel changes. Be sure to consult with us if you find your sled running poorly after installation.
